Despite substantial progress, affective science continues to debate fundamental issues: the nature of emotional categories, the mechanisms of emotional blending, the behavioral measurement of psychological agility, the origins of individual differences in emotion regulation, and the prediction of treatment resistance. The Core Emotion Framework (CEF) offers a mechanistic, operator based model grounded in repeatable observational evidence—operator dominance, suppression, and entanglement (fusion). This paper consolidates ten open psychological questions and demonstrates how CEF’s constructs (operator scaling, fusion, detanglement) provide coherent, empirically testable answers. Each answer is aligned with existing literature from emotion regulation, psychological construction, affective flexibility, alexithymia research, and personalized psychiatry. The CEF reframes these debates by shifting from descriptive labels to functional operator states, offering a practical research agenda for validation studies. The ten CEF operators are as follows: • Head Center: Sensing (outgoing), Calculating (reflecting), Deciding (balancing). • Heart Center: Expanding (outgoing), Constricting (reflecting), Achieving (balancing). • Gut Center: Arranging (outgoing), Appreciating (reflecting), Boosting (balancing "on" mode). • Overall Manifestor: Accepting (balancing "off" mode).
