James Mahon

I work on the philosophy of lying and deception, moral philosophy (mainly normative ethics, but also applied ethics), the history of moral philosophy (especially Kant, Mill, and twentieth-century metaethics), and early modern philosophy (especially Descartes). I also write on film and popular culture.
