I work as a Marie Curie Fellow in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. My research is primarily in contemporary democratic theory and the history of political philosophy (with an emphasis on Nietzsche). The guiding aim of my research is to explore how we can maximise human flourishing. While my perspective is resolutely left-of-center, much of my work engages critically with the challenges posed by authoritarian and conservative thinkers.
