James Siemens is an Orthodox priest of the Archdiocese of Churches of Russian Tradition in Western Europe, in which case he is known as Father Jacob.
He holds a PhD (2009) and a post-doctoral license in Divinity (LicDD) (2011) from the University of Wales, Lampeter, both in historical theology.
One of his most recent publications is 'Eastern Christian Approaches to Philosophy' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022), which he co-edited with Dr Joshua Matthan Brown.
