Jamie Terence Kelly

Jamie Kelly is an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at Vassar College, where he teaches courses in social and political philosophy, philosophy of technology, and philosophy of law. He earned his BA in English and Philosophy, and an MA in Philosophy from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He received his PhD in Philosophy from Boston University in 2007. He is the author of Framing Democracy: A Behavioral Approach to Democratic Theory (Princeton University Press, 2012), and Free Robot Labour: Marx, Automation, and the Future of AI (Palgrave Macmillan, forthcoming). He is a member of the editorial board and manuscript collective of the journal Science & Society.
