I am an associate professor in the Philosophy Department at Vassar College. I teach courses in ethics, political philosophy, and philosophy of law.

My research in political philosophy focuses on the relationship between democratic theory and empirical research into human decision-making. I am currently writing a book about Marx's account of automation and the possibility of artificial labour.
