Jan Josl Ph.D. studied philosophy and aesthetics at Charles University of Prague. He finished his doctorate by thesis 'Umění a péče o duši u Jana Patočky' ( Art and Care of the Soul in Jan Patočka's Philosophy).His main areas of interest are philosophy of Jan Patocka, philosophy of Henri Bergson, phenomenological aesthetics, popular and mass art, art and ethics, humor.
