Professor emeritus in Theoretical Fusion Plasma Physics at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. My interest in philosophy goes way back and primarily embraces epistemology and the philosophy of mind. In particular, I am interested in definitions, the concepts of understanding and existence as well as monism-dualism, the mind-body problem and free will. In 2001 I published the book Tankens Villkor* (in Swedish) about the limits of knowledge and understanding.
