Jan Sitvast

I am trained as a mental health nurse, but today I am working as a senior lecturer at an University of Appleid Sciences Hogeschool Utrecht where I teach students who want to become advanced nurse practitioners at master level. My subjects are: methods and techniques of research and evidence-based practice. I am also involved in practice research into the application of photography as a therapeutic medium. My expertise is in hermeneutics and phenomenology, recovery and person-centred care. Beside being a nurse I am a historian.
