I am a native of Brooklyn, New York, a graduate of Hunter College, with an M.A. in Religious Studies from Mt. St. Mary's College, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Claremont Graduate University. I have taught philosophy at Mt. St. Mary's College, Loyola Marymount University, and I am currently teaching at Moorpark College. My husband, C. S. Lewis scholar Paul F. Ford, and I are Roman Catholics living in Camarillo, California.
