I studied the classics and philosophy at The University of Texas at Austin, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015, graduating with highest honors and special honors in philosophy. I studied the classics and philosophy at The University of Texas at Austin, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015, graduating with highest honors and special honors in philosophy. In 2017, I completed a Master of Theological Studies program at Duke Divinity School and graduated Summa cum Laude. In February 2024, I completed a doctorate in historical and systematic theology at The Catholic University of America, where I received a fellowship from the Institute for Human Ecology. Under Reinhard Huetter, I wrote a dissertation entitled “Obedient Belief: The Act of Faith and the Problem of Doxastic Voluntarism in the Theology of Matthias Joseph Scheeben.” I have published one edited volume of collected biblical commentaries by Thomas Aquinas, entitled Thomas Aquinas: Selected Commentaries on the New Testament (Word on Fire Academic, 2022). In late 2024, I will publish a second volume of Thomas’s biblical commentaries, entitled Thomas Aquinas: Selected Commentaries on the Old Testament (Word on Fire Academic, 2024). I am the creator and managing editor of the journal The New Ressourcement. I live in Dallas, Texas, with my wife and three children.
