I am a lecturer in philosophy at the University of St Andrews. I've previously held positions at Exeter College, University of Oxford, the University of Edinburgh, LMU Munich, and the University of Glasgow. My research centres on ancient Greek theories of the soul, metaphysics, and ethics. However, I also have research and teaching interests in philosophy of religion, Islamic philosophy, Jewish philosophy, and continental philosophy.
