I received my doctorate in 2015 from Oxford University. I was previously a Fellow and Lecturer at Exeter College, Oxford, a Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, an Associate Lecturer at the University of St Andrews, and an Assistant Professor at LMU Munich. My research centres on ancient Greek theories of the soul, metaphysics, and ethics. I am particularly interested in how these ancient theories can help to illuminate contemporary debates in metaphysics and ethics. I am currently working on the ethics of belief in Plato, and issues related to causal and logical determinism in Aristotle.
