In an attempt to understand the Indian economy in terms of agricultural produce commodities Wheat and Cotton were studied. Historical data for the past 21 years is collected and analysed to find the future trends of these commodities. Farmers, traders, and agribusinesses can use forecasts of future price trends to manage risk associated with price volatility. By anticipating price movements, they can make informed decisions regarding production levels, inventory management, and hedging strategies.Understanding future price trends allows agricultural stakeholders to optimize their profitability. They can adjust planting decisions, input purchases, and marketing strategies to capitalize on favourable price trends and mitigate losses during periods of low prices. Knowledge of future price trends enables the farmers to make informed decisions about capital investments, loans, and resource allocation. Governments and policymakers utilize agricultural price forecasts to develop effective agricultural policies. These policies may include subsidies, tariffs, trade agreements, and market interventions aimed at stabilizing prices, supporting farmers, and ensuring food security. Agricultural price forecasts provide valuable insights into market dynamics, supply-demand dynamics, and macroeconomic trends. Researchers, analysts, and investors use this information to conduct market analysis, assess investment opportunities, and make strategic decisions.The study indicates that the prices of Wheat and Cotton are showing an upward trend till the year 2030.
