    The focus of this chapter is on Gloria Anzaldúa’s thought (writer, philosopher, activist, and border artist) views on imagination from a spiritual perspective and on the interconnection of different modes of consciousness and reality that are at stake, as well as the possibility of healing wounds and creating harmony within the human and non-human worlds. Throughout her various writings and conferences, Anzaldúa has coined the term spiritual activism. The study of spiritual activism offers an introduction to Gloria Anzaldúa’s ideas to enrich peace studies, the philosophy of imagination, and intercultural and religious dialogs in the search for social transformation.
