Jean du Toit is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and Philosophy at the University of Fort Hare. He earned his PhD in Philosophy in 2018, following postgraduate studies in Biochemistry. He has studied at North-West University in South Africa and Ghent University in Belgium. His research explores technological politics, with a particular focus on the existential and social implications of embodiment in digital technologies.
