Jeffery Pretti

I received my PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2015. My primary research was in the areas of mind, language, and epistemology, with particular focus on the issues of representational content, meaning, and intention.

Since then, I have moved from academia to public service, working for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a Senior Program Manager. As Senior Program Manager within the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), I assist the Associate Commissioner of Regulatory Affairs (ACRA), Deputy ACRA, and ORA's Chief of Staff in overseeing executive governance, advising on organizational performance, and serving as the business lead on strategic initiatives and assessments that have an enterprise-wide impact.
