I work on Hegel, German Idealism and Early German Romanticism. My approach is historically-informed and avowedly metaphysical. I'm not afraid of the Absolute (except sometimes at 3 in the morning!), and I enjoy addressing the religious/absolute/systematic dimension in Hegel. This does not make me a "Right Hegelian"! On the contrary, I believe the essential critical elements that we may discover in Hegel are only meaningful within a systematic context or narrative.
