I recently earned my PhD in philosophy at Saint Louis University. My dissertation is an extended argument that Alasdair MacIntyre's views on tradition have a precedent in T.S. Eliot's neglected social theory. I have taught 'Introduction to Philosophy' and 'Ethics' for a decade, with an emphasis on the development of western philosophy from the PreSocratics through Thomas Aquinas in the former course and the virtue tradition in the latter.
