I am Danish scholar working on ancient philosophy and its reception in 19th and 20th century philosophy. In particular, I work on Plato and the Socratic-Platonic ideal of philosophy, on the influence of ancient philosophy on thinkers such as Heidegger, Gadamer, Klein, and Strauss, and on ideals of inquiry and philosophic method.
