I am interested in the nature of human self-consciousness and in the limits of what our minds can grasp and our words can say. My current main research project focuses on how subjectivity is realized socially, and on the alienation and distortion to which it is thereby vulnerable. I also work on how self-consciousness informs metaphysics and philosophical methodology.
