I work primarily on issues in political philosophy, focusing on questions about justice and legitimacy, but also on issues in just war theory and how we should relate to systemic injustices. I base my work on an understanding of the history of the questions I'm working on - which also means that I have a lasting interest in the history of normative thought (especially from Grotius through Marx).
