Jessica Vargas González is an Assistant Professor at the Center for International Studies at El Colegio de México. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from Binghamton University and an MA in Continental Philosophy from the University of Warwick. Her primary interests lie in social and political philosophy, with a special focus on the work of Hannah Arendt. Her current research sits at the intersection of political philosophy and the philosophy of emotions, where she explores normative questions about how emotions are mobilized in political life and their role in processes of social change.
