I earned my B.A. at Seton Hall University (1976), my M.A. at NYU (1980), & my Ph.D. at Brown (1987). I took a summer seminar at Oxford (European Political Ideologies) in 1982. I've taught Philosophy full-time at Northern Michigan University (Spring 1986), Kent State University (1987-1990), Ohio University Lancaster campus (1990-1992) & Kean University (1992-2017). From 1981 to 1985, most of my graduate school years, I was adjunct at Montclair State University, Bridgewater State College, & University of Lowell. I retired from full-time teaching in June 2017. A native a Cuba, naturalized American citizen, I'm bilingual in English & Spanish.
