Simple Summary: The present study evaluates the effects of two dietary supplements (guanidinoacetic acid [GAA] and zilpaterol hydrochloride [ZLH]) on the productive performance of fattening lambs over a 60-day period. The inclusion of these additives did not result in significant differences in the parameters studied. However, serum glucose and creatinine levels in the GAA group were higher than those in the control group. These findings suggest that further research is needed to determine the optimal dosage and duration of GAA supplementation to enhance lamb growth and meat production. Abstract: This study evaluated the effects of dietary supplementation with guanidinoacetic acid (GAA) and zilpaterol hydrochloride (ZLH) on productive performance, carcass traits, and blood chemistry in non-castrated male lambs over 60 days. Twenty-four Pelibuey × Dorper crossbred lambs (16.3 ± 2.7 kg) were adapted to housing and diet for 14 days before being randomly assigned to one of three treatments: (1) Control: total mixed ration (TMR) without additives; (2) GAA: TMR with 0.2% GAA; and (3) ZLH: TMR with 6 mg/kg dry matter (DM) of ZLH for the last 30 days. No significant differences were observed in productive performance or carcass traits among treatments. However, lambs fed GAA showed higher serum glucose and creatinine levels than the control group (p < 0.05), suggesting a potential effect on energy metabolism. ZLH supplementation had no measurable impact on the parameters evaluated. These findings indicate that while GAA may influence certain metabolic indicators, further research with extended feeding periods or varying dosages is needed to clarify its effects on growth and carcass characteristics in lambs.

This study addresses the ambiguities in empirical findings on artificial intelligence (AI) in education by proposing a new methodological framework that combines neutrosophic stance detection and Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). This approach explicitly models truth, indeterminacy, and falsity, allowing for the synthesis of contradictory research. The authors evaluated four causal hypotheses related to AI-based learning, using a survey of 24 university participants to explore the necessary conditions for perceived learning improvements. The results indicate that the digital divide is a perfectly necessary condition for effective AI-enhanced learning. The findings also reveal that AI feedback and AI platform use are necessary, though not sufficient, for learning improvements, but generate significant uncertainty. The study concludes that the neutrosophic-fsQCA framework is a viable technique for synthesizing ambiguous findings and provides empirical evidence that digital equity and high-quality design are crucial for the successful integration of AI in education.

Using data from previous editions, plus 3,062 new measurements from 721 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons. We summarize searches for hypothetical particles such as supersymmetric particles, heavy bosons, axions, dark photons, etc. All the particle properties and search limits are listed in Summary Tables. We also give numerous tables, figures, formulae, and reviews of topics such as Higgs Boson Physics, Supersymmetry, Grand Unified Theories, Neutrino Mixing, Dark Energy, Dark Matter, Cosmology, Particle Detectors, Colliders, Probability and Statistics. Among the 117 reviews are many that are new or heavily revised, including those on Pentaquarks and Inflation. The complete Review is published online in a journal and on the website of the Particle Data Group. The printed PDG Book contains the Summary Tables and all review articles but no longer includes the detailed tables from the Particle Listings. A Booklet with the Summary Tables and abbreviated versions of some of the review articles is also available.

Counting models for a two conjunctive formula $F$, a problem known as $\sharp $2Sat, is a classic $\sharp $P complete problem. Given a 2-CF $F$ as input, its constraint graph $G$ is built. If $G$ is acyclic, then $\sharp $2Sat can be computed efficiently. In this paper, we address the case when $G$ has cycles. When $G$ is cyclic, we propose a decomposition on the constraint graph $G$ that allows the computation of $\sharp $2Sat in incremental way. Let $T$ be a cactus graph of $G$ containing a maximal number of independent cycles, and let $\overline{T}=-E)$ be a subset of frond edges from $G$. The clauses in $\overline{T}$ are ordered in connected components $\{K_1, \ldots, K_r\}$. Each $, i=1,\ldots,r$ is a knot of the graph. The arrangement of the clauses of $\overline{T}$ allows the decomposition of $G$ in knots and provides a way of computing $\sharp $2Sat in an incremental way. Our procedure has a bottom-up orientation for the computation of $\sharp $2Sat. It begins with $F_0 = T$. In each iteration of the procedure, a new clause $C_i \in \overline{T}$ is considered in order to form $F_i = $ and then to compute $\sharp $2Sat$$ based on the computation of $\sharp $2Sat$$.

This paper explores the ancient philosophical school of Cynicism, its key principles, and its most famous proponent, Diogenes of Sinope. It asserts that George Carlin, a modern comedian, embodies the spirit of Cynicism through his sharp social commentary, fearless critique of societal norms, and advocacy for self-sufficiency and freedom. Drawing parallels between Diogenes and Carlin, the paper highlights three core Cynic values: self-sufficiency, living according to nature, and parrhesia (fearless speech). Diogenes, known for his ascetic lifestyle and provocative public actions, championed the rejection of societal conventions and materialism, advocating for a life in harmony with nature. Similarly, Carlin's comedy, marked by irreverence and critique of societal hypocrisies, challenges cultural norms and exposes contradictions in political and ideological systems. Through his routine, Carlin exemplifies parrhesia by boldly confronting taboos and speaking truth to power, much like Diogenes did through his radical actions. The paper argues that Carlin’s satirical humor and philosophical reflections align with the Cynic tradition, using comedy as a tool for philosophical inquiry and societal critique. By comparing Carlin to Diogenes, the paper posits that Carlin’s comedic legacy should be recognized as a modern continuation of the ancient Cynic ethos, making him a contemporary counterpart to the father of Cynicism. The study underscores the relevance of Cynic philosophy in modern society, emphasizing its role in challenging conformity and promoting critical reflection on societal values.

Arthur Schopenhauer raises the “question of the meaning of existence” and, with this question, philosophy inverts its alienation implied by the discourse which usually has marked it as tradition. However, with this question the philosopher unleashes an “evil genius” far more incisive and deadly than Descartes’ one, since, being a-rational, it affects even the rationalistic mathematical-moral parameters in which Descartes’ one was defined. This genius appears in Schopenhauer’s philosophy as a “will” that manifests itself in a “world” of individuals who co-exist at the expense of eliminating each other, a “world” where pain and suffering urge the question for meaning. So, for Schopenhauer, it is the will that – having become independent of the desires that, according to Descartes, a priori understanding makes it desire, as both, understanding and will, compound this unit called “cogito”. Hence, this response does not eliminate the question either, but only knocks the bottom out of it and even demands it more urgently, thereby vindicating the character of philosophizing as humanly essential.
