Jin Y. Park is Professor and Department Chair of Philosophy and Religion at American University. Park's research areas include Buddhist philosophy (especially Zen and Huayan Buddhism), Buddhist ethics, women's philosophy, narrative philosophy, postmodernism, deconstruction, Buddhist-postmodern comparative philosophy, and modern East Asian philosophy on the topics of race, gender, violence, and engaged citizenship.
