Jin Y. Park is William Fraser McDowell Professor and Department Chair of Philosophy and Religion at American University. her research areas include Buddhist philosophy (especially Zen and Huayan Buddhism), Buddhist ethics, women's philosophy, narrative philosophy, postmodernism, deconstruction, Buddhist-postmodern comparative philosophy, and modern East Asian philosophy on the topics of race, gender, violence, and engaged citizenship.
