Jinze Liu

I am the translator of Brian Leiter’s Nietzsche on Morality (forthcoming by Shanghai People’s Publishing House).

I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Tongji University in 2025. I teach philosophy at Baoji University of Arts and Sciences.

My research interests include epistemology, philosophy of mind, ethics, and political philosophy. I also specialize in early modern philosophy, particularly the works of Thomas Hobbes and Baruch Spinoza. I have published some articles in Chinese philosophy journals.

I independently run the WeChat public platform “Anglo-American Philosophy Trends” (英美哲学动态), which serves as a key platform for disseminating analytic philosophy in the Chinese-speaking world.

Outside of academia, I am a fan of 赵今麦 and Taylor Swift.
