I'm an Associate Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. I work mainly in contemporary epistemology. My current research projects focus on the following issues: epistemic defeasibility, epistemic dependence, the epistemology of reasoning, and the Gettier problem.
