Joaquim Giannotti

I am a "box-to-box" metaphysician and committed realist. My research engages with pivotal issues in the metaphysics of science, focusing on concepts such as grounding, fundamentality, ontic structuralism, and the ontology of powers. By critically engaging with conventional frameworks, I wish to illuminate complex questions and advance foundational debates within metaphysics. I have research interest in the metaphysics of race and the ethics of AI.
