I am a researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies, Stockholm and a member of the newly established Mimir Institute for Long-Term Futures Studies, within IFFS. I am the PI of the VR funded project, Expertise in crises (2023-25), which studies the role of experts in high uncertainty, high stakes situations like the Covid-19 pandemic.
My work spans decision theory, social epistemology, and philosophy of science. I tend to work on decision-making under conditions of severe uncertainty, the use of expertise, and scientific modelling, especially as a source of evidence for decisions.
