I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs at Syracuse University's Maxwell School. My training is in philosophy (PhD, LSE).
Before Syracuse, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford's McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society and at Humboldt University Berlin. I also consulted on tech ethics in Silicon Valley, including at Apple.
I work on AI ethics, AI governance, political philosophy, and philosophy of science. I am co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of AI Governance.
