I have a PhD in philosophy from the University of Maryland, an MFA in creative writing from Syracuse University, and am currently a postdoctoral Lecturer at Stanford University.

My research revolves around the value of literature and has appeared in The Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism and British Journal of Aesthetics.
