I am Professor of Philosophy in the School of Civic Leadership at UT Austin, with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Philosophy. For 2026-2027, I am a Myser Visiting Fellow at the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture at Notre Dame. My current research is focused on the topic of voluntariness in the philosophy of action, ethics, and the law.
