I’m a postdoc researcher in Ralf Bader’s research project on non-identity problems at the University of Fribourg. Before, l was a postdoc fellow in Philosophy at Dortmund University (2024–2026). I received my PhD from Saarland University (2024), where I was also a research and teaching fellow (2018–2024). I did my MA in Philosophy at Humboldt University Berlin (2018) and my BA in Philosophy, Sociology, and Political Sciences at TU Dresden (2012). I was a research and teaching fellow at Humboldt University Berlin (2019–2020) and a research visitor at Rutgers University (Fall 2021).

My research is mainly on moral theory and decision theory. I specialise in the ethics of well-being, population ethics, interpersonal aggregation, distributive justice, essentially comparative theory, and diachronic decisions. My first monograph, "The Dual Force of Welfare", is forthcoming with Routledge in September 2026. It investigates the distinction between personal and impersonal views in welfare ethics. I’m also interested in political philosophy and applied ethics. I’m a co-organiser of the Workshop on Welfare and Ethics (WoW), and I was Vice President of the German Society for Utilitarian Studies (2020–2023).
