I'm Professor of Philosophy and Director of The Jeremy Coller Centre for Animal Sentience at the LSE. My first book The Philosophy of Social Evolution was published in 2017. My second book The Edge of Sentience: Risk and Precaution in Humans, Other Animals, and AI was published Open Access in 2024.
