Founded in 2015, the Center for Public Philosophy at UCSC seeks to facilitate productive dialogue and deliberation, especially on contentious topics, and to engage with the public on pertinent issues of philosophy, ethics, and critical thinking. It does this through community programs, student fieldwork, public events, research, and media production.
