Jonathan Newman is Professor of Biology and Vice President: Research at Wilfrid Laurier University. Trained as an ecologist (PhD, SUNY Albany), his work spans grassland ecology, climate change biology, invasive species, and plant–fungal interactions, with a parallel research program in philosophy of ecology and environmental ethics.
