Broadly speaking, my research examines the role of democratic education in navigating the socio-ecological complexities of a digital and pluralistic democracy. My work critically engages with two key questions: (1) how does democratic education, as it is currently structured, reinforce existing power dynamics and contribute to political and ecological instability? and (2) how might a reimagined approach to deliberative democratic education cultivate more just and sustainable democratic practices?
