I work in a new ontology of appearance that departs from substance-based and modal frameworks, shifting the question of being to the conditions under which configurations hold together.
I reject the notion of possibility as an ontological reserve and argue that only what achieves operational consistency within a relational field can be said to be.
This leads to a non-normative account of responsibility and to an understanding of decision-making as a structural intervention in the field of what becomes possible.
