SummaryPedigree structures of 161 uncle/niece-aunt/nephew and 4420 first cousin consanguineous marriages registered during the 19th and 20th centuries in two large and very different Spanish regions have been analysed and their genetic consequences evaluated. The frequencies of the different pedigree subtypes within each degree of relationship were quite similar in both populations despite significant heterogeneity in inbreeding patterns. The mean X-linked inbreeding coefficient for each type of cousin mating was calculated and compared to that expected for autosomal genes. The effect of genealogical structure on theFx/Fradio was compared to different cultural populations worldwide. Preferentiality and avoidance of close consanguinity along with specific types of pedigrees are discussed on the basis of premarital migration and sociocultural rules still deeply rooted in certain human groups. By admitting that the observedFxcoefficient is usually higher thanFin most human populations some remarks have been made in terms of population genetic risk.

La línea directriz de este trabajo la inspiran las obras de Paul Ricoeur en torno a la narración y, específicamente, su ensayo “La vida: un relato en busca de narrador”. Pretendo en este ensayo continuar lo que Ricoeur dejó inconcluso y para ello analizar: 1) la estructura teleológica de toda narración, la importancia decisiva del fin, tanto en toda narración como en el fin de la propia vida que se da en el momento de la muerte. 2) Mostrar cómo la organización y configuración de la trama se organiza en torno a lo que llamo actos de libertad radical, actos decisivos y relevantes de la propia vida, cargados de pasado y futuro, que son los que imprimen a la temporalidad orientación y sentido. El hombre necesita contar su vida para poder vivirla comprendiéndola.

What is called by Polo as "the native freedom" derives from the acceptance of the being offered and that is precisely known as such in the act of accepting it as a gift. This native freedom requires a destination to be unfolded. Freedom requires radicality as well as horizon. The radical freedom only exists where its horizon is open to big question puting the entire life at stake. The structure of the heroic myth illustrates the difficulties of the freedom. In the true free act we choice at the same time that we consent. The dialectic of this time free act is illuminated by the basic confidence of the native freedom and the taking into account of the beneficiary (destination)
