El artículo ofrece un análisis crítico del impacto contemporáneo que está teniendo la proliferación de una Educación Ambiental (EA) de nueva generación apoyada por herramientas tecnológicas virtuales en la construcción de una renovada identidad profesional, de un sujeto ecológico postmoderno en continua reconstrucción, reciclado por la influencia que ejerce la tecnología en su práctica laboral ordinaria y en su vida cotidiana como ciudadano ambientalmente comprometido. A los treinta años de Tbilisi se reconstruyen algunos patrones de cambio significativo valorando las limitaciones y oportunidades de los nuevos modelos. Desde los presupuestos de la investigación fenomenológica nos acercamos a los diferentes rasgos del nuevo sujeto ecológico de nuestro tiempo, donde un nuevo concepto de educador ambiental y de EA se perfila empujado por los avances tecnológicos al albur de realidades virtuales, redes sociales y medios de comunicación

ObjectivePreviously Mindfulness-Based Swinging Technique 's immediate efficacy for overcoming psychological concerns has recently received empirical support, yet its longer-term efficacy needed to be evaluated among women with breast cancer. The objective of this study was to assess and report the efficacy of MBST intervention among breast cancer patients for hopelessness, anxiety, depression, self-efficacy, oxygen intensity, and heart rate-beats per minute at an 8-week period.MethodThe State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, The Emotion Thermometer, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Self-Efficacy for Managing Chronic Disease, and Beck's Hopelessness Scale were used for assessing the intervention's outcome; 149 BC patients were randomly assigned into two groups. The participants in the control group received Cognitive Behavioural Therapy -Cognitive-Disputation for 20 min, and intervention group received MBST intervention. No additional psychological interventions were given between week-1 and week-8.ResultOutcomes of the 8-week post-treatment follow-up exhibited significantly higher improvements in all evaluated-measurements for CG, and some for IG with large effect size in the following: anxiety and depression levels. It increased self-efficacy for managing disease and hopefulness, and saturation levels measured by pulse-meter/oximeter.ConclusionsBoth CBT-CD and MBST have been found to be efficacious interventions to shorten the psychotherapy duration for reducing clinical anxiety and hopelessness as well as increase self-efficacy for BC women. This may have a distinct clinical importance for supporting BC patient's adherence-to-treatment since CBT-CD could be an alternative technique to MBST as a brief intervention. In future studies, the effectiveness of MBST through adapting to virtual reality and other online delivery methods should be examined.

La investigación interpretativa representa una de las tendencias contemporáneas más reveladoras para el entendimiento del significado de los hechos sociales, culturales, jurídicos, arqueológicos, etnográficos, médicos, psicológicos o educativos. A lo largo de este artículo se ofrece un recorrido panorámico por los procedimientos metodológicos más empleados en el estudio de casos desde la perspectiva de la investigación interpretativa, poniendo énfasis en el proceso, en la logística y en la tecnología de la investigación con datos textuales, imágenes u objetos, procedentes de registros culturales, narraciones orales o documentos institucionales. Desde un enfoque integrador se presenta una modelización de las diferentes fases de este tipo de investigación: se contemplan los requisitos previos, las eventualidades del trabajo de campo, las estrategias de análisis de los datos, que con mayor asiduidad son empleadas por los investigadores, así como los modelos de difusión pública de la información a que se acogen.

Aims: Attentional bias, alcohol craving, and anxiety have important implications in the development and maintenance of alcohol use disorder. The current study aims to test the effectiveness of a Virtual Reality Cue-Exposure Therapy to reduce levels of alcohol craving and anxiety and prompt changes in AB toward alcohol content.Method: A 49-year-old male participated in this study, diagnosed with severe AUD, who also used tobacco and illicit substances on an occasional basis and who made several failed attempts to cease substance misuse. The protocol consisted of six VR-CET booster sessions and two assessment sessions over the course of 5 weeks. The VR-CET program consisted of booster therapy sessions based on virtual reality exposure to preferred alcohol-related cues and contexts. The initial and final assessment sessions were focused on exploring AB, alcohol craving, and anxiety using paper-and-pencil instruments and the eye-tracking and VR technologies at different time points.Results: Pre and post assessment sessions indicated falls on the scores of all instruments assessing alcohol craving, anxiety, and AB.Conclusions: This case report, part of a larger project, demonstrates the effectiveness of the VR-CET booster sessions in AUD. In the post-treatment measurements, a variety of instruments showed a change in the AB pattern and an improvement in craving and anxiety responses. As a result of the systematic desensitization, virtual exposure gradually reduced the responses to significant alcohol-related cues and contexts. The implications for AB, anxiety and craving are discussed.

This article provides an introduction to the themed section ‘Anarchism and the national question—historical, theoretical and contemporary perspectives.’ We discuss first the long and often overlooked engagement of anarchists with the colonial and national liberation question, particularly—but not exclusively—in the heyday of the movement (from the second half of the 19th to the first decades of the 20th century). We discuss in particular the overlaps and tensions between anarchists and republicans (those who favoured republics as opposed to monarchies) and anti-colonial nationalists (anti-colonialists who defended the right of national self-determination). Then we proceed to discuss the potential for a dialogue between anarchist and nationalism studies based on three interventions. First, to problematise the narrative that conflates nations with state-building processes. Second, to better grasp the emergence of alternatives to the nation–state as a historical construct. Third, to complicate narratives that associate in an unproblematic fashion internationalism and classless society. Finally, the introduction highlights the four questions which lie at the core of the themed section and discuss briefly how the papers relate to these.
