I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from Temple University. Before coming to Temple, I earned an M.A. in philosophy at Stony Brook University, and a B.A. with a double major in philosophy and literature at Purchase College. My dissertation focused on Kant's philosophy of history, mainly on trying to shed new light on its "proleptic" aspect. I am currently teaching in the Department of Philosophy at Fairfield University. My research interests are quite varied and I have taught courses in aesthetics, ethics, existentialism, logic, philosophy of education, philosophy of mind, political philosophy, pragmatism, and social psychology.
