Joseph Gresham Miller is one of two Fay Horton Sawyier Teaching Fellows at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his doctorate in Classical Studies at Duke University, working under Professor José M. González. Trained broadly in the history and culture of ancient Greece and Rome, Joseph is especially interested in exploring the reception of ancient Western philosophy from its inception (among the Presocratics) to the present.
