I work primarily in the history of philosophy, especially the post-Kantian European tradition, and on some problems in the philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and epistemology. I am now working on a book on the history of 'the problem of the other' in the phenomenological tradition. In addition, I am working on several papers -- on Heidegger's interpretation of Kant, a paper on Ryle, a paper on intentionality, and a follow up paper (responding to several critics) to an earlier paper on the phenomenology of judgment.
