Some aspects of the influence of periodic orbits in the low resolution structures of vibrational molecular spectra are considered. At very low resolution a band structure conditioned by the least unstable short periodic orbit in the phase space region sampled by the initial wave packet appears. At very low resolution a band structure conditioned by the least unstable short periodic orbit in the phase space region sampled by the initial wave packet appears. However, when higher resolutions are considered an intraband structure emerges corresponding to longer orbits connected to the previous one. The interplay among all these trajectories is examined in the case of the molecular vibrations of LiCN described by a realistic potential.
