I am a philosopher of mind and epistemologist. My research investigates how emotions—including hope, anxiety, curiosity, and interest—shape our cognitive lives by directing attention, structuring imagination, and guiding our pursuit of knowledge. I am currently the Principal Investigator on an "Ambizione" research grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation. In 2024-2025 I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Central European University (“Knowledge in Crisis” project).
