I completed my B.A. and M.Phil. in Philosophy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
My research lies at the intersection of Continental philosophy and social and political philosophy. I am currently developing two projects. The first articulates a phenomenological approach to social experience, examining the interrelation between social subjectivity and its socio-cultural world. The second project investigates the formation of cultural identity by examining extreme social contexts where one’s sense of identity breaks down, focusing on situations marked by cultural extinction, diaspora, and colonization. In addition, I am developing articles that examine the problem of political violence, exploring both its constructive and destructive dimensions.
