I have a BE in Aeronautical Engineering and an MA in Philosophy. Now I'm pursuing a PhD in Philosophy of Science. Currently, my research is on the concepts of emergence, downward causation and levels in science and philosophy, within the framework of the New Mechanist philosophy. I intend to use case studies from various scientific fields to conduct my research. One of the case studies is on the Hodgkin-Huxley model of the action potential in neuroscience.
