I'm a PhD candidate at KU Leuven, currently finalising my thesis on "Ancient Wisdom and Platonism". My research mostly circles around the Platonic tradition, with a focus on notions such as tradition, innovation and the role of authorities. I am further interested in classical metaphysical questions, and how they relate to the practical and religious dimensions of philosophy in antiquity (and beyond, especially the Islamic world).
In the past I have conducted research at the University of Cambridge (2022-23) and obtained an MA in Philosophy (2019) and a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies (2017) from the University of Heidelberg.
