Kate Nicole Hoffman is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cincinnati in the Department of Philosophy and with the Center for Public Engagement with Science (PEWS). Her research revolves around understanding and reimagining the human-nature relationship, especially in the context of conservation, climate change, and animal ethics. Additional interests include considering the feasibility of applying mental disorder categories to nonhuman minds and exploring the potential of art to facilitate a healthier environmental future.
